Self Assessment

We think a self assessment is a useful part of the inspection process and provides an opportunity for the Police Authority to tell our story.  The self assessment sets out the achievements we have made and our priorities for the future.

The information in the self assessment document and the evidence it provides will help the Audit Commission/HMIC to make judgements.

We are aiming for excellence and hope the inspection team will recognise our strengths when they come to carry out the inspection in September 2009.
