I joined Lancashire Police Authority as an Independent Member in April 2003. I have a special interest in Equality, Diversity & Human Rights and Citizen Focus which means that I act as the Authority lead on this subject, attending relevant local and National meetings and reporting back to the Authority. I have also been appointed to the National Executive of the Association of Police Authorities as the Executive Member for Equality and Diversity, a position that will see me working as a full Executive Member but with a particular responsibility for championing equality and diversity issues. I would be pleased to receive any emails from members of the public regarding policing or matters relating to the Police Authority.
