I joined Lancashire Police Authority as an independent member in April 1999. My background includes extensive experience in public sector, private sector and the voluntary sector. Although I am interested in ensuring that there is equitable policing service for all sections of the community, I have a “special interest” responsibility in encouraging minority recruitment into the Constabulary, which means that I act as the Police Authority’s lead on this subject, attending relevant local and National meetings and reporting back to the Authority. I would be pleased to receive any emails from members of the public regarding policing or matters relating to the Police Authority.
