I joined Lancashire Police Authority as a councillor member in June 2007. Prior to entering local politics I served some 30 years in the Army retiring in Sept 06. Not surprisingly therefore I have a particular interest in training and was fortunate to be asked to act as the Authority’s lead on this subject, attending relevant local and National meetings and reporting back to the Authority.
I am extremely keen to promote a better understanding of the work undertaken by the Police Authority and would therefore welcome any emails from members of the public regarding policing or matters relating to the Police Authority.
