Appointments & Remuneration Committee

The Appointments and Remuneration Committee is responsible for agreeing the procedures and undertaking shortlisting for the appointment of Chief Police Officers and the Authority's Chief Executive.  In addition, the Committee implements the Chief Police Officers Bonus Scheme and oversees the performance development review progression arrangements for Chief Police Officers and the Authority's Chief Executive.

The Committee meets on an annual basis to consider matters related to performance development review and on an ad-hoc basis in relation to appointments.
