Community Engagement
We undertake and participate in a number of activities to gain the views of the public in Lancashire.
Roadshows
We regularly hold roadshow events around the county to gain a snapshot view of the opinions of Lancashire communities. You will find us at your local supermarket, at a farmers market or other events. Social Media
In a world where some people prefer to register views and opinion in their own time and from the comfort of their own home, Lancashire Police Authority has to look at developing our use of social media – this includes introducing new ways that you can share opinions and information and have discussion. You will therefore notice that there are more online ways in which you can get involved in our work and there are also various ways you can follow us and observe and comment through Facebook, Twitter and You Tube.

Our website is designed to provide you with information about Lancashire Police Authority and the work we do, you can access information on committees and our Members. You can contact us through the website with any comments, complaints or compliments. If you would like to take part in any consultation – presenting your views through questionnaires, you can do this through our interactive Lancashire Opinions on Policing 'LOOP' website. Our brand new website acts as a consultation portal which you can visit in your own time. Keep in the loop and catch up with that's new and whats happening in Lancashire policing, have your say on different topic areas, look at the results and feedback that has been generated, view the gallery and have a look at the latest addition to the online blog. Face the Public
Your local community safety partnership will hold at least one local meeting each year. Generally these meetings will involve the key partners such as the local council, Fire and Rescue, Primary Care Trust, Lancashire Constabulary and Lancashire Police Authority. These meetings give the opportunity for the public to raise questions to these partners. Lancashire Police Authority will attend these events and welcome your views and questions.
